We Hate to See These Bugz Go!
The Bugz Holiday musical, performed by second and third grade students, had our school buzzing with excitement! Ms. Shook and all the students did a wonderful job getting us in the holiday spirit with this lively musical. We can’t wait to see what the next performance offers!
Honor Roll and Attendance Achievements Recognized
First through fifth grade Honor Roll students and students with perfect attendance were recognized at class level assemblies in the library. In the past, these awards were sent home with report cards, but we’ve chosen to deliver the awards at mini-assemblies so students could be recognized in front of their classmates for a job well done. Congratulations to our award-winning students!
Fifth Grade Expeditions!
Each year, fifth graders from HME have the opportunity to travel to Camp Explore at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville, TN. This fall, the students and their teachers recently returned from three days and two nights of hand-on experience in stream analysis, wildlife studies, forest ecology, orienteering, lake exploration and canoeing, and team-building skills. This year’s group had another fabulous experience, bringing home memories and knowledge that will last a lifetime. Check out the pictures of the fun they had!
