Baseball auction could be source of basketball dream tickets for Vol fans

ELIZABETHTON — With the University of Tennessee currently top ranked in the Associated Press men’s basketball poll, there are fans searching for tickets to the Final Four tournament.

All the more reason to attend Elizabethton High School’s 4th Annual Elizabethton Cyclone Dugout Club Silent and Live Auction on Saturday, starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from members of the team or may be purchased at the door.

Baseball head coach Ryan Presnell said the Final Four tickets are just some of the nice packages being auctioned Saturday. The auction will be held in the Commons Area of the school. Proceeds from the auction go the defray team costs on such things as travel, equipment and uniforms.

Presnell said the Final Four tickets are just some of the many nice sports tickets. Others include the U.S. Open golf tournament at Pebble Beach.

Presnell said there are also over 120 baskets made up of great items. Each basket is made up of four or five items.

The dinner will provided by Chick-fil-A and J’s Corner. The auction will be conducted by Goodwin-Street Auction.
