Jamie Bass Schaff graduated from EHS in 1982 and attended ETSU. Jamie is married to Mark Schaff and has three children, David Lyons(Bri Lyons) Kelly Lyons and Christofer Schaff, and a grandson Fynnlee Lyons. All three of her children attended and graduated from Elizabethton City school. She is an active member of First Baptist Church, a Praise Team member,  also leads the Children's Choir. She organizes two yearly Benefit Concerts for Recovery Soldier and Isaiah 117 House. She was an employee of the Elizabethton School system for 14 years. She began her career as a substitute teacher for two years and then served as a 5th-grade teaching assistant for seven years at HME. In the last five years as an employee, she was the Secretary at Harold McCormick Elementary. Jamie's mother, Wanda Bass, was a teacher at EHS for many years until her death in 1991. Jamie's sister, Beth Deloach, is currently a second-grade teacher at Harold McCormick Elementary.
