A Parade was held on December 9, 2019, to recognize the 2019 4A State Champion Elizabethton Cyclone Football Team. The participants in the parade departed from the corner of Hudson Drive, then down Jason Whitten Way, turning onto Bemberg, and ended by entering the Citizens Bank Stadium. Many fans filled both sides of the road to show their support and congratulate the team. Both the city and county mayors spoke, Principal Jon Minton, Shawn Whitten, Ryan Whitten, two football players, and then Forrest Holt invited all fans to the stadium entrance for the reveal of the State Champions sign. After the reveal, all fans were welcome on the field for a group picture. Many fans, football players, and community members stayed for pictures with the gold ball trophy. The love and support the community has shown the EHS football team has been amazing. Thank you for cheering on the 2019 Cyclone Football team ending the season with a perfect 15-0.

Additional pictures of the game and parade are posted on the Elizabethton City Schools Facebook page.
