ECS would like to announce Jim Presnell has accepted the role as the new EHS Boys and Girls Head Track and Field Coach. Mr. Jim Presnell has been active within the ECS system for 28 years.

Jim Presnell served as athletic director, track and field/cross country head coach and girls' basketball coach. He is a seasoned athlete and well known in the community for his lifelong accomplishments.

2012-2014 Bob Jones High, AL; Head Track and Cross-Country coach

2014-2020Athens High School; Football and track coach

Accolades:       2013 AHSAA Cross Country Championships- Girls 6A 4^th place

2011 AHSAA Track Championships- Girls 6A 9^th place.

2011 Track-Oxford High School-18 school records broken.

2010 AHSAA Cross Country Championships-Boys 6A 12^th place

2008-2010- Broke every school record in the throws at Milligan College in both Men’s and Women’s events. (4 National Qualifiers)

                        1980-Present 22 individual state champions in track and cross country

(State champion coached events- Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, 110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, 1600, 3200, 4x800 Relay, Cross country, numerous top 3 finishes in sprints and sprint relays)

Scholarship Athletes: 16 track and cross-country athletes have signed for a college scholarship in the last 6 years to compete on the next level.
