Back-2-School Bash 2024

Elizabethton Back-2-School Bash 2024

On Monday, July 29. 2024 we will host our annual Elizabethton Back-2-School Bash at Elizabethton High School. This event aims to provide needed school supplies and access to community resources to local students and families. We want our students to be prepared for the upcoming school year and support community involvement throughout our schools. Over the years we have provided thousands of students with school supplies, free meals, and access to local organizations through community support.  With your help, we can again work together to meet this need in our community.

In order to provide needed support to our community's children, it will take $25 per child. Our goal is to reach the sponsorship of 1000 children. Our goal is to partner with as many Elizabethton organizations as possible to meet this need. We also want our community to know that you love and support local students, so we have outlined recognition opportunities below based on sponsorship levels.

In addition to school supplies, students will receive important information about the coming school year. All students will have access to health, education, and extracurricular resources. The Back-2- School Bash will include inflatables, haircuts, obstacle courses, dinner, and a resource fair. The entire event and activities are free and will take place from 6 pm -8 pm.

ECS will take donations throughout the year.

You can make your donation online below link or you can send a check to:

Volunteers

We depend on volunteers to oversee inflatables, serve food, provide directions and help set up. Many ECS staff members volunteer, but we still need folks to help with some stations. Call 423-547-8000 to learn how you can volunteer at the event.

The event is planned in partnership with Elizabethton City Schools, Carter County Health Department, and the Elizabethton Police Department. Each year, community support makes this possible with thousands in donations, thousands in attendance, and dozens of partners attending to share resources. This is a family-friendly event, but we ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home, unless they are certified service animals. You do not need to preregister for this event, and we typically have plenty of backpacks and supplies for all attendees. Thank you
