General Information
Elizabethton City Schools is now offering a secure site for current and former students and corporations to access transcripts, attendance, and employment verifications.
Requests submitted by fax, phone call, email and mail will no longer be accepted.
Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.
Important Information:
- All requests for student records/information will be submitted and paid for online using a credit or debit card.
- Phone, mail, or fax requests will no longer be accepted.
- You will receive emails from scribOnline@scribsoft.com to notify you of the status of your order. It is important you read those emails carefully as additional information may be required to process your request.
- For those requesting to pick up records, an official, unexpired photo ID is required such as a driver license, passport or military ID.
- Please allow 10 business days to process student records orders.
Current Students and Alumni
Effective May 1, 2018, in an effort to provide enhanced and more secure service for our students, all student records requests including graduation verifications, transcripts, and cumulative folders and must be made online using our online student record request system.
Fax, phone calls and mail will no longer be accepted.

The process to request a diploma is different. Diploma requests must be made to the state of Tennessee using the Diploma Request Form.
Transfer Students
Effective Dec. 3, 2018, in an effort to provide enhanced and more secure service for our current or transfer students, all records requests must be made online using our new student records requests system.
Requests submitted by fax, phone call, email and mail will no longer be accepted.
The new K-12 Transfer application will be activated on Dec. 3, 2018. It is a secure, self-service application that requires the following steps of schools requesting student records for a transfer.
- Site Access. Go to https://ecschoolstn.scriborder.com/ Scroll down to the K-12 Districts - Select the Following to get started and click the Icon
- Account Creation. Each person requesting records from Elizabethton City Schools is required to set up an account. You must use your school email address, personal email addresses will not be accepted.
- Verification. Once the account is set up, there is a verification process that takes about 24 hours to complete. You will receive an email notification once your account is verified. You only need to be verified once then you may submit as many requests as you need.
- Submit Request. When you receive the “verification complete” email notification, you may login to the K-12 Transfer application and submit your requests to Elizabethton City Schools.
- Processing Time. Elizabethton City Schools will process your request electronically within 10 business days. You will receive an email notification once the request has been processed.
- Downloading. When you receive the “processing complete” email, you will need to login to the K-12 Transfer application to download the student record you requested.
