Caleb Napier, T. A. Dugger Jr. High Drum Captain, recently traveled to Franklin, Tenn. along with other members of the Watauga Valley Fife and Drum Corps to perform at the 114th State Conference of the Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Watauga Valley Fife and Drum Corps played for the Opening Processional and later offered a performance where each Corps member presented the historic interpretation of a different 18th century tune from authentic field musicians guidebook.

"It was truly an honor for them to be invited and it was a big occasion," said Melodie Daniels, Corps Clerk. "They did an amazing job and made us all so proud of their incredible talent and professional manners."
