He also served as a Collaborative Coach for the Tennessee State Department of Education from 2017-2019. He has achieved several degrees including a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and Behavioral Science from King College, a Master of Arts in School Counseling from ETSU, and an Education Specialist in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education in School Leadership from Milligan College.

“I feel both honored and grateful for the opportunity to lead Elizabethton High School as the next Principal.  There is a standing tradition of excellence that we will work to continually move forward so that our students are in the best position for post-secondary success.  Our goal will be to continually grow and develop our curriculum and opportunities so that they are both rigorous and accessible to all students.  We are fortunate to be part of a community that provides an incredible amount of support.  I look forward to serving alongside an incredibly talented staff to make Elizabethton High School the best it can be.”
