I have been Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at T. A. Dugger since 2012. I served in the classroom at TAD from 2001-2012 teaching all grade levels of science as well as coaching football and baseball. It has been an honor to work at this school developing lifelong friendships with colleagues I have grown to love.
My teaching career began in 1992 at Happy Valley Middle School. I taught ELA and also coached basketball and football during my tenure from 1992-2001. My experience at Happy Valley better prepared me for my transition to T. A. Dugger, and I still have friends teaching there today.
I have been married to my wife Susan since 1993 and have two boys Eric (attending University of Tennessee Pharmacy School) and Evan (attending Elizabethton High). We spend lots of time together as a family doing all types of outdoor activities.
